Why I Chose Playing the Ukulele
Playing the ukulele has not always interested me.  I first became interested in it just a few years ago when I was watching American Idol.  A contestant on the show, Jason Castro, played the song, Somewhere Over the Rainbow on a ukulele.  I thought is was amazing!  That's when I decided that one day I would learn to play the ukulele.



How I Plan to Learn to Play the Ukulele
I will first need to purchase a ukulele or borrow one.  I will most likely buy one since I want to keep it.  Once I have a ukulele, I will need to find lessons on how to play it.  I have several options.  Although I could probably use YouTube, I know that YouTube videos are not high quality when it comes to learning stuff.  I plan to find a ukulele teacher.  I will have to research this.  My first stop will be the ukulele shop on East Avenue downtown called Bernunzio Uptown Music.  I am sure they can help me find a good teacher.

Why you chose this book:  I chose this book because I have read several ...for Dummies books and they are really easy to understand.
